FEBRUARY 2017 NEWS
Calligraphy art compliments of Sarah

Happy Valentines!  💑🍓💘🍫 How will everyone spend their Valentine's Day?

Lucky & Tammy
Lucky asked me how I wanted to celebrate our 35th anniversary.  I said, "Let's celebrate by going on a mission to another country! (check - done!)  We're having fun learning a few Canada Quirks... like paying for each plastic bag (5 cents) for groceries... and needing to pay $1 for a wal-mart cart. It's a great way to save money... (only purchase what you can carry out in your hands)! We've also enjoy our 1 on 1 basketball exercise during our lunch break!
We invited the sister missionaries over for dinner on Valentines day!

We celebrated "Family Day" (Canada's National Holiday) on Monday, February 20th by going on a bike ride (the weather was warm and sunny) https://morsemission.travel.blog/2017/02/21/february-family-holiday/

Jeremy & Heather
February was much warmer than January.  The snow melted, and the kids are able to go the park.  For the February family birthday celebration, we went to the Treehouse museum in Ogden with all the cousins.  We celebrated Colin’s birthday as a family by going out to eat.

Jason & Sarah
February is here and that means it's time to PARTY!!!
We had a Jedi party for Brigg at our house on Saturday. After completing a Jedi training course the kids were given a Jedi robe and a lightsaber. We played a few more games, had lunch and opened presents. Brigg was thrilled. The night of his birthday he chose to go to Toads Fun Zone and play a few arcade games, on his first game he won 1000 tickets!!!

Layne is excited for his birthday, he just wants all the exact same presents Brigg got. I guess Layne will be getting 2 sets of gifts this year since he already found the fishing game and art set I had hiding under my bed!!!

Sammy is days from crawling 😭😭😭 I'm not ready to have my cupboards torn apart 20 times a day!!! I'm really wishing he would learn from Mia and sleep through the night!

Jason is busy with work, we are constantly impressed and grateful for the company he works for! He is having fun in the Young Men's program. He has a list of wood projects pilling up, mostly from me! I am really into my new found passion of calligraphy and watercolor. I want to do a fun dinner at home with the family for Valentine's Day, maybe fondue!

Chris & Jaelyn
Chris and I will be spending a weekend in SLC to celebrate Valentine's and our 5 year anniversary (back in August when Mia was born) We're so excited to sleep in, hot tub, work out and eat out with no children!!
Chris- Open enrollment ended January 1st! We are loving being able to play with Chris before the sun goes down! And he is enjoying free time with jazz games, ice fishing, gym and watching football.
Jaelyn- Loving my new dance class on Tuesday nights, apparently we will be performing in May?! And getting into High Fitness, trying to go once a week for a fun break from being mom all day.
Nelson- Obsessed with the old Star Wars movies and Toy Story these days. We experimented with a little reward chart and he did fairly well on the first challenge which was finishing all of his meals and he earned his slinky dog toy!
Mia- Her head is back to normal with no more soft spot above her ear, yay! She is always happy and recently started sleeping 11-12 hours at night. She is so good at sitting up and says "yeah-yeah-yeah" all day long. She will be 6 months old on Sunday!

Jordan (& Mckenna? We still want to know what she's up to right?)

The family got together at the Treehouse Museum on Saturday, February 11th.
