Summary of the Family Camping Adventure:
Jaelyn's summary: Camping was fun! Our camping spot
was awesome! It was on a big meadow of
grass (I was expecting a lot of dirt). We
hung out with Jordan’s dog, Zuri, the first day. Mia is obsessed with dogs, and Nelson loved Zuri! He took her on a hike with his hand on her
the whole time. Once the 4-wheelers came
we started riding them. Nelson was
obsessed with the 4-wheeler, wanting to be on them at all times! Mia had a blow-up pool that she sat in most
of the time. The first night Jeremy
pulled out his fun movie screen. It was
like a big tall sheet, and we watched Moana.
Colin and Brigg knew every single word to every song. Nelson said, “I
love Moana” (although he hadn’t seen it before). The next day, we went 4-wheeling again, and
Heather pulled out her craft projects for the kids. We had fun painting birdhouses and treasure
boxes! Sarah’s activity was ice busting. You had to chip away the ice, or wait for it
to melt to get to the toy inside. The
boys got a 4-wheeler toy, and Ellie got some ponies. The boys dug in some dirt with shovels to
make jumps for their 4-wheeler toys. We
had a lot of fun at the lake throwing rocks and riding in the rafts. Chris jumped out of the raft into the
freezing cold water. He said it was
soooo cold! At night we pulled out
glow sticks. On the ride home we stopped at TC
for lunch and ice cream shakes. Then the trailer tire exploded, so
we had to pull over on the side of the road while Jason & Chris replaced the
tire. That was our “getting home”
adventure. We didn’t get home until 6 at
night. Jason & Sarah probably didn’t get home until 8pm (It was a long
travel day).

Lucky & Tammy
Sunny June days (between the rainy days) are beautiful in Canada! Tammy rides her bike on all non-rainy days to the office, and loves the "into the woods" bike trail! We had a fun quick trip to Niagara Falls and enjoyed riding our bikes near the falls. We also enjoyed experiencing National Aboriginal Day (June 21st) at a Brampton downtown celebration. It was an extra special Father's Day treat to see Lucky & Liv's picture in the
Canadian National Mormon Newsroom! We had one very scary weekend when Tammy's computer hard-drive crashed and she was really worried that she'd lose all of her files (7 years of her life).. Thankfully, all the files were successfully transferred to the newly purchased computer (BestBuy).
